Lately :
♥ Cutting my hair a little too short and being sad right afterwards
But after a few consideration and a little more cut (I have a fringe again, now. Like, it feel so awkward at first. Tehe :3) I feel more relieve. Sometime we should learn to let go something we love, right? (;
Haven't shoot any photo of my self with my new mushroom-kinda-hair yet. So, no photo. Hehe.

♥ Two projects I currently working on
I always want to join a social project since about my own social project is clogged. And now, I'm one of IT & Creative rangers of Future Leader Summit for 2014. It's very exciting to work with another youngster that also care about social issues. 
And oh, beside that one social project, I also working on my new crafty business (as I mentioned in my previous post) which we call our product as inotes. ^^
We create customized notebook for gift, any occasion, or daily needs. And I'm currently working on our instagram and tumblr, but it's not finished yet. So please, bear with me. For now, you can ping me via e-mail or twitter if you want to order the notebook. ((:

♥ Get myself a very first skirt & dress that I bought by my self
Never have a skirt or dress before, except uniform or get it from a gift. But now I get my self a new season. Just bought a cute pink skirt (actually, I bought it because it's cheap enough. Hehe), and I even bought a floral dress. ((:

♥ Organizing my first event as a Firefox Student Ambassador
Haven't mentioned in my blog before that I'm a Firefox Student Ambassador now. Organize a small workshop with my Doscom pals and also a #MozKopDarSMG (Semarang's mozillian meet up) with a Mozilla Representative (and also a blogger!) from Jakarta, mbak @rara79.

♥ Launched inotes and join a creative expo on campus
Launched inotes on a creative expo held in our campus.Though our social account is not finished yet, and we haven't launched our first collection. Haha, but that's fine. Success comes from process, right? (;

- Joining a national-blogger-gathering "Blogger Nusantara 2013" in Jogjakarta
Join a national blogger gathering in Jogja called  Blogger Nusantara 2013. It's not a well-organized event, truthfully. But meet a lot of blogger from around Indonesia is one precious experience for me. I even met a kid blogger! :D

♥ Having a new family in a new home
Such a new family I have in my boarding house now. I'm the youngest one that I usually being so spoiled among them. Haha :D

Let's giving away our book! (:

I looooove holiday. But I much more love my holiday to work on some project that I couldn't do on my daily activity. So yeah, after I met a curator of a new-born-small library based in my hometown (Tegal) called "Perpustakaan Tiga Surau" in twitter, I'm so excited to donate some books that I have for them.  

Come from a small thriving village in Tegal make me understand much how the villagers need some facility that the townsfolk easily get, including library. I always prefer to school in another place beside my hometown because I'm craving for the facility that I can't get there. 

So, the story begin when I met a curator of Perpustakaan Tiga Surau (@fuadikamal) in twitter, and then I read their website and I begin to "Okay, why don't I spend my holiday to collect my books and donate them to Tiga Surau?". But unfortunately, I'm not a book-maniac that continuously buy book every month so I just collect a few book. That's why now I'm posting this on my personal blog, which is aims to inform the others of this new-born library.

why don't you share your happiness of the books by giving away some of them for the others? The others who in needs, the others who don't have any chance and facility like you? ((:

Too late to sleep, too early to stop

Just a quick post before I pull my blanket and sleep. So, it's finally released. The EOS magazine that I'm talking about in my last post. I'm so grateful for this. 

Thank you so much for the crew who has been so nice to help me bring off this magazine. Thank you guys, Reza, Dipa, Dwica, Punky, Nurul, Septi, Desi, and Fajar. Thank you for the editor who has been so "rempong" complaining about every single typo in the magazine. Thank you for everyone who has been contribute creating this magazine, Bang Jojon, my matriculation friends Anzie, Widy, also for Indra, Kholid. And also thank you for the readers! I hope this simple magazine could bring a new inspiration for you though just a tiny piece. Thank you for your appreciate by reading this magazine! (:

ISBA 2012 YOUTH AWARD

Jumping jumping!!

I remember the time when my friend gave me a link of one blog competition. I never join such blog competition -except giveaway (is that count? :3)- before, so I think it's nice to try this one. I click the link and directly join because the step is quite easy.

But I never thought that yesterday, I received a mention in my twitter that I selected as a winner of ISBA 2012 SEPTEMBER YOUTH AWARD . It was like a honor for me. I mean, I consider my self as an amateur blogger because I just blog for the reason that I like to (said before in here).

Could you remind me when the last time you give me your sincere smile? Because I lost my memory.

Hi buddies! How's life? Mine is not pretty good since I'm so freakin tired of everything. Couples day of relaxing my body hopefully will enough for me. Last week was just like )*#@*&#%*&I# week. I become the comitee of orientation week in my campus. It was my very first time I involved in any organisation at school and become the comitee of such a big event in my campus. And yeah, it's freakin tired yet fun.

Something bother me recently. Mom was made me cry a lot, but nevermind. I've found my serenity bit by bit. And anyway, college will start tomorrow. Hopefully it will help me to give my smile back.

Haven't prepare anything for the new semester. Even I'm still in my hometown now and maybe tomorrow too. Buuuuut I have prepare to make my very own self-made book. I love crafting, remember? 

The one in left is the cover. I want to make it look simple and effortless yet still vintage so I decide to use that floral pattern and put my simple signature name on the cover. It look sweet, don't you agree? 

And the one in the right is the contents. I hope the watermark will not break the cleanliness of the book, no? 

Now I still searching for a good paper to print the cover. I think about the glossy one, but I'm afraid it will break my vintage concept. Somebody have recommend?

Corruption : Wrong way to achieve happiness (#1)

How's goin? Do I miss some news from blogsphere? I just heard a good news from twitter that Kak Diana Rikasari won IYCE. Whoah, it's sure a big good news for Indonesian enterpreneurship-world. She's indeed a inspirator. Congratulation Kak Di! 


So, I come here with a project from Aleena Deandra from Junebug and me called a chained post. The idea is to share your opinions and criticisms towards one social-issue that we picked, then you get to ask another particular person to do the same, continuing your work until it all becomes one long-chained post from different people, full with our different opinions, ideas and criticism. Here're the rules you should follow :

1. You can add your words (all in full English, we don't care how bad your grammar is, no exception) directly after the last person's work, without adding any break whatsoever, so it becomes one clean and well-structured essay. You must add for minimum 1 paragraph and maximum 3 paragraphs.

2. You can add between other person's words, only if it's make sense and you don't get to change other people's words. You can also add some pictures and/ videos and/ links or other necessary stuffs to support your reliable words.

3. Your opinions, critics and ideas can be pros or cons, depends on how you think towards the issue (including the reasonable explanations).

Indonesia still include on the world's 100 most corrupt country in 2011. Guess why? I think it's because people always look for a job that generate much money for them. Let's go into our deep heart. What you exactly searching for in your life? is it money? I'm not gonna be a hypocrite here. I admit that money is important. But it's not the most important thing in life because we live here particulary for looking for happiness. Don't you agree with me? What we doin everyday, we eat, we buy something, we share love, that's just for the sake of earn more happiness for our self. I know this maybe kinda weird to relate the corruption thingie with happiness. But I have a thought that it less or more relate each other. Sometime they (the corruption doers) do the corruption thingie for the sake of their (or their family) happiness, isn't? So, why don't we teach them how to achieve a happy life with the other way (instead of money, I mean). 

I know one common thing that never fail to make someone happy. That is to do something that they like. If you like to write, then be a writer. If you like art, then be the artist anyway. I know it will not gonna be that easy. But that is the key. Get a job that relate to what you love to do! I remember, Steve Jobs also have ever said that 'we have to try to get know what we love to do'. That's the basic rule of life. The point is, I believe when we have a job that relate to what we love to do, we gonna simply being happy and never have a thought to do something bad to gain more happiness.

Fashion Against Bullying

I'll face my semester exam next upcoming week! Gah! Time flies so fast. I've been busy with nothing but college thingie. 

Bad blogger? I know, I sucha bad blogger nowadays. Lack of topic, lack of post, and rarely browse your blog to blogwalking. So sorry guys.. It just me, who feel over dosis for internet. But I promise to be better after my exam! Yet now I come with a new header and button. How it look like? Fresh, rite?

So, have you guys ever heard about this Fashion Against Bullying campaign project or many blogger simply called it FAB? I think I'm being called of this project. 

This is actually a very brilliant campaign by WhatIWear, which take a topic about fashion bullying. I can't say that I experienced this kind of bullying. First, because I'm a person who didn't care too much what people gonna say about my fashion style. The second because I -myself- feel that I always respecting other style of fashion, so that's what I -feel- also should take from others. 

I'm an art worker. I'm immensely realize that fashion is one of art. It's the way people showing their self and their creativity. But sadly, my family is blind on fashion. I know most of girls must be love to shop, expecially with your mom rite? Nah, it's fun for you, but for me it's hell. My mom was a stick-in-the-mud person when it comes to fashion. I never willing to shop with mom when she ask me to. Or when she told me that she would bought me some cloth, I always refuse it. Because we have a totally different fashion style. Even sometime she forbid me to dress as I want to, just because she assume that it looks freak. Yeah mom, you should know me more..

People who live in city must be grateful because most of the townsfolks had been more open-minded about fashion, while the neighbor in my village was still conservative about it. When I dress a little bit weird, they certainly mock behind me. 

"Wearing clothes seems like an easy thing to do each day? Well not for today's youth. Some youths even believe wearing the 'wrong' clothes can lead to social suicide. Nowadays, freely expressing your style seems to be getting repressed by bullies who view fashion as a way to leverage their status, discarding the actual value of fashion : freedom of expression."

Garage Sale Charity Project?

Hi Fellas!

Glad to know that I receive so much support -through twitter, email and comment- for the IBC project (that I'm not expect before). Because there's a moment, that I feel clogged and tired to continue the project. But then I realized that I've been run this far and I'm not gonna waste all the support that I've received. Oh ya, I have a special thanks to Vania Aprilia from Pudding Monster that give me such an enlightenment for this project. 

So yeah, I've explained my previous idea to some blogger through email and they're actually support it. But I think it kinda confusing to manage an online charity. And when I have a chat with some blogger, we decide to change the project into 'garage sale charity project'. For 'garage sale' have a clearer plan than the online charity project it self. 

And based on my discussions I had with some blogger, we agreed to hold a garage sale that the 10% of the yield will be donated to "Cinta Anak Bangsa" foundation (I'm still contact heir team for corporation). I think about to have an entertainment corner also in the garage sale (I need to discuss it further once I have a team). 

The garage sale maybe take a place in Jakarta and Surabaya. And for those who want to contribute, but out of the region that I've mentioned, you can still send your cloth with the product detail to us, so we can sell it at the garage sale as well. 

For that, I need a team who willing to fully contribute for the project. Because I know, it's not gonna be easy to make this project happen. Oh ya, I think this event will be in December or early 2013 because I know, this need an a full preparation. Further info will soon available after the team formed.

Indonesian Blogger Charity

Hi guys! How's your weekend? Mine was busy with my job as a photobook crafter and set up some project that I'm working on.

For you who curious about the tittle of this post, let me explain it now. But maybe it's better if you firstly read my previous post tittled "Let's be a changemaker!" below. Some ppl say the project was somehow clueless. So, now when I already have the idea fixed, I want to share  it here..

I called this project itself as "Indonesian Blogger Charity". So, my project was to make a place for blogger, to sell their stuff and donate the fund. And I've already made the blog, facebook group, and twitter account to gather more people together and discuss it further. Because the project was not fully fixed yet, I still need more suggest and input to realize this project. So please kindly to join the forum I've already made and let's join me build this project together. Beside to make a big event which require an arduous preparation, we can start it with a little project continually, right? :)


I knew that our mostly problem of blogger was "distance". When I have a chat with other blogger via twitter, we have an idea to divide the team into some regional area. So, we can coordinate it easier. 


If you have any idea or suggest, don't be hesitate to share it with us. I'd like to hear any idea from you guys. ;)

Let's be a Changemaker!

Kali ini gue bakalan pake Bahasa Indonesia biar pesennya bisa lebih 'nyampe'. FYI, ini bakalan jadi post yang SERIUS. Jadi please banget, baca baik-baik buat yang berkenan baca. :)

Short story, kemaren-kemaren gue join di situs www.global-changemakers.net setelah baca buku 'dream catcher' karangan Alanda Kariza. I must admit, that she's inspire me A LOT. Gue sering 'ngangguk-ngangguk' sendiri pas baca buku itu. Banyak banget cerita-cerita menarik dan sangat menginspirasi yang dia share disitu yang bikin gue akhirnya mencoba join di situs Global Change Maker. Dan diluar dugaan gue, ternyata banyak juga GCM dari Indonesia. Gue coba liat-liat projectnya dan gue tertarik sama satu project yang namanya 'Strawberry Generation? Call us Changemaker'. Jadi, Strawberry Generation itu istilah yang terkenal di Asia dalam dekade yang lalu untuk mengembalikan kembali generasi muda yang manja, yang apatis sama keadaan sosial sekitar. Gue emang sengaja memilih project di area Indonesia or at least ada senior yang dari Indonesia. Karena gue ngerasa masih 'junior' banget dalam hal ini sekalian gue mau tanya-tanya dulu cara kontribusi ke project itu.

Di project itu gue kenal Kak Disty Winata. Dia mahasiswa Indonesia yang kuliah di jurusan Health Sciences di Universitas Simon Fraser Canada. Gue message dia tanya-tanya dikit tentang GCM dan I was so surprised because she was actually so nice to me.

Sebenernya udah dari dulu gue pengen ikut kegiatan yang bersifat sosial dan membawa perubahan yang lebih baik buat bangsa ini. Gue cerita ke Kak Disty, kalo sebenernya gue punya ide buat bikin pergerakan perubahan lewat komunitas blogger. Atau, minimal bikin charity buat bantu sodara-sodara kita yang kurang mampu. 

Setau gue, belum banyak event blogger yang memuat tema perubahan buat bangsa. Kebanyakan dari mereka ngadain event gathering, atau yang fashion blogger mungkin bikin garage sale semacem itu. Yang gue pengen usulin disini, kenapa nggak kita sisipin 'nilai sosial' di event-event kita itu? Karena menurut gue, kebanyakan blogger umumnya dari kalangan menengah ke atas dan I think it was a right target. 

Buat yang bingung, gimana kita mau mengubah dunia? Gimana kita bisa kasih kontribusi buat kemajuan bangsa? Gimana kita bisa bantu sodara sebangsa kita yang kurang mampu? Come on guys, gue juga nggak tau jawaban dari itu semua. Karena itu kita bisa berkumpul, kita diskusiin bareng gimana cara buat mewujudkan itu semua.

Pernah nggak sih lo kenal orang yang dalam kesehariannya nggak pernah peduli sama kegiatan akademisnya? Yang nggak mau berusaha buat belajar tapi maunya dapet IP bagus? Atau orang yang super-selfish, yang cuma peduli sama kehidupan pribadinya aja? Kegiatannya sehari-hari pacaran, jalan-jalan, nggak mau belajar, dan apatis sama lingkungan sekitar?

C'mon guys! Kita generasi muda. Kita berpotensi besar buat mengubah bangsa ini jadi lebih baik. It's fine to living your teenage-world, but we have to convince ourself that the future of Indonesia is on our hand. Ini saatnya kita bangkit dari 'enjoy zone' kita dan ikut berkontribusi dalam perubahan bangsa. 

To be honest here, sebenernya gue ngerasa kalo membuat kebahagiaan untuk orang lain itu adalah hutang kita terhadap Tuhan. Karena actually, tujuan hidup kita adalah kebahagiaan. Dan menurut gue, dengan membahagiakan orang lain itu bakalan jadi double happiness buat diri kita sendiri.

Jadi, inti dari post ini adalah gue ngajakin kalian buat bikin event changemaker di komunitas blogger. Dari dulu sebenernya spesialisasi gue itu adalah "idea maker". Dan karena nggak mungkin juga kalo gue handle semua ini sendiri, jadi gue butuh bantuan kalian guys. It's time for us to be a changemaker demi kemajuan bangsa kita. Jadi gue open banget buat yang mau ikutan join bikin event ini terwujud.
